The bible states in Proverbs 4:7, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." There are many God ordained ways in which you can get wisdom such as: Receiving the Preached Word, Studying the Bible, Having a Spiritual Mentor, and going through things with a good attitude. Proverbs 2:2 says to "...apply thine heart to understanding," which simply means that God encourages us to seek understanding through the means most available such as; church services, trusting God etc. James 1:4 says "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
